We Have Arrived!

The flights went smoothly with the only hiccup being Ronnie getting searched at Newcastle and Heathrow. He had to go through the scanner machine. They also searched his hand luggage because it was full of cables for electrical gear.
From landing in Halifax, going through border control, collecting bags and picking up the car only took about 45 minutes.
Here's hoping the return journey will go as well.
The car is a Ford Focus, seems nippy and quite smart. We used the TomTom to find our way to The Bakers Chest in Truro. Very spacious room with a giant bed, lovely and comfortable we've had a great sleep.
Went for a walk to try and keep awake. Very chilly wind and I think we saw some sleet. Went to Ponderosa Tap and Grill down the road. Had hot wings, pizza and fries. Washed it down with Coors for Ronnie and Keith's IPA for me. Yum!
Next stop was Keggers Alehouse. I tried the local brew, imaginatively named Keggers, more Coors for Ronnie.
Eventually crashed out at 20.30. Managed to sleep in a bit this morning but woke up to a weather warning for frost.
Off for breakfast now, looking forward to finding out what's on the menu.
